Reviving game play with eachother.

You know what we need? We need another game that all of us can play together in. I don't mean another MMO necessarily, but another free game that we can all just dick around in. Something everyone will have access with. Remember pre-GW2 launch? We were all playing Blacklight Retribution? Shooting the shit? Making fun of eachother? Mine and Tristan's terrible duel (mismatched as fuck on that map btw).

I want us to look into games that are free and easy to hop into and play with eachother. It doesn't really matter what it is, as long as we can get 8 people into a game. FPS's are pretty easy to do this in, but I could see maybe a dungeon crawler or bash'm'up or something. But yeah, we should play something. Anything. And that anyone can play (free or really really really cheap).

Any ideas?

Good idea, to get everyone together and havin fun until possible Wildstar beta. I am up for whatever. Don't have too many suggestions though lol. OH wait....PLANETSIDE 2. Seriously though its a great idea and I am up for whatever game we decide, as long as we are havin fun as a community.

The only problem I have with PS2 is the complexity of it. It's great for long term squad stuff, but not that great for short term pick up games. But I still haven't activated any of that stuff that I got for "pre-purchasing". lol

Understandable and none of you besides myself, CMAC1(who up and disappeared) and Claark have played it recently. We did have a fun night way back where we just messed around. Its not necessarily first pick for TAB but an occasional drunken session of blowing everything up is always fun.

Any other suggestions? Torchlight 2 is a fun little dungeon crawler but thats max 4 people a group I think and its cheap but not free.

Are there any of those giant 8 -12 people board RPG board games available online? That would be fucking sweet.[DOUBLEPOST=1367028929,1367028807][/DOUBLEPOST]I mean you have the normal: http://www.pogo.com/board-games[DOUBLEPOST=1367029128][/DOUBLEPOST]

Drunken Cards Against Humanity Online never hurts occasionally.

Apb reloaded
Honestly? I don't think I've ever played another game that came close to the "virtual hang-out" feeling of APB. Whether it's cruising around in San Paro with a bunch of buddies, listening to your favorite music, doing a mission here and there, blowing stuff up, showing off your new clothes, your new paint job, your new tattoos... APB will always have a spot in my heart. To me it was the perfect "s**ts and giggles" game when I wanted it to be.

Plus, it's a game where you actually met people, communicated with them and developed friendships. More so than most other games (for me at least) - my friends list was always crowded. And it was APB that brought me to TAB to begin with.[DOUBLEPOST=1367091080,1367090780][/DOUBLEPOST]

Haha, same here - pre-purchased, but never touched it after the beta.

Well it is free. And we can setup fights versus each other if we make crims and enforcers etc.

I'm going to download it, if only to see what GamersFirst have done with it in the meantime.

Is their still that weird ass third party login system? I was insanely bored and downloaded it on steam. It made me open like another account on the GamersFirst thing or whatever and I was like fuck it.

No idea I have had the same account for 2 years..

Well I am up for it if everyone else is getting into it, back into it. I had originally intended to play that game when it was first coming out but decided against it.
