Wait... are you referring to the "Ground Zero Mosque" as a slap in the face? Because it's neither at Ground Zero, nor is it entirely a mosque. The implication is that every Muslim subscribes to Wahhabist/Salafist extremism (fewer than one percent do so), which is baseless Islamophobia and unbecoming of a country that was established to welcome everyone regardless of race or creed. It's a mistake to paint over a billion people with the same brush.

By the way, the fertilizer thing was in Texas. Different tragedy.

This might sound nit-picky, but what irks me about that statement is the "motivated by religion" part. It should be "motivated by religious radicalism" or "motivated by religious extremism" - people really need to understand that these individuals' actions are not encouraged by the Qur'an. It's painting a false picture of Islam.
