We have been trying to get some tourneys in most weekdays lately between this time frame as well as most times on weekdays. What I would love to do is get a DEDICATED 5-man squad for tournaments. We don't just want to do this for shits and giggles, we want to win. We are available most weekdays (Podcasts are the typical exception with occasional other activities) but will be able to communicate availability and scheduling on a daily basis through texting and alttabme PM's. If interested, reply with class, spec, and current rank/experience.

I am a Ranger, varying specs, but currently built for high damage. Rank 17, almost have my Champion Slayer achievement. My purpose is usually to stick and hold on center points.

If I thought I was more skilled, I'd be all over this.
We are open to teaching. This isn't a one off deal, we want to learn in free tourneys. When we start winning more frequently in free, we will move to paid. It's a transition and learning period for everyone, but we want to start taking a more serious step towards it,

By the way, I know all the maps pretty well. I have one character slot that I rotate characters on for pvp. I'm open to any prof/spec. My main character is a ranger, and I know it fairly well, but I haven't had much luck with it in sPVP. I've played thief about the same amount in sPVP. The last spec I rolled with was backstab heavy, but it was major cheez. I got a lot of complaints from people I killed saying how cheap my moves were. If you're looking for a specific type of build, let me know.

We're just looking for bodies that are willing to commit. We'll discuss specifics as time continues :)

Ok I have two classes available to you, my Guardian who is now a good balance of conrol and dps.

And my Mesmer, who is basically a truck being pushed by another truck, hidden behind camo netting made in the year 3056.

I could see the Mesmer being used in map 1 and 2 heavily, and the guardian in map 3 on clocktower defense (or mesmer portals for treb repair)

I'm down as always. Thieving little pistol whipper here!
We may have to restructure Mike on non-thief play if you're adamant about playing yours. Two thieves is more detrimental than useful. Thieves are meant to be roamers and paired with others, not fighting 1v1. That means that one thief that roams between the big fights is useful and isn't meant to be stationary. Having two roamers means less focus on two points at a time. We'll have to get online and talk about some stuff obviously.

I'd like to get in on this, but I'm hesitant to commit given my holiday schedule - I foresee a lot of driving between San Marcos, Houston, and the Valley while trying to get some music written. It would be good to sink my teeth into some group theory-crafting.

This sounds awesome. I'd like to join if you don't mind a semi-nubly Necro. :3 I'm rank 9 and have been switching my specs frequently, trying out any potentially viable build to see what they're like and what I like. So far I hate squishiness and dislike conditions, so tanky power builds are what I prefer (wells ftw) and i usually roam with it aiming for team fights with a combination of dps and control via zoning/debuffs. Have yet to try a full on tank build for bunkering or a support build, will do that sometime soon. Support Necro sounds sexy. ;)

I always wanted to do guardian in spvp. Time to play right now is my biggest hurdle to committing.

Honestly my biggest hurdle is actually doing well. :p I have absolutely no PvP under my belt at all really. Still trying to settle on a profession I even like. I'd like more of a support type, as in maybe a necro or something to just condition and annoy.

I hear Eles make super excellent supports. Possibly Engineers too. Haven't heard a lot of good about Necro support tbh (thematically I love the concept) but will get back to you when I try it if you like. For conditions... Necros may be the best. Signet of Spite + Epidemic is teh lulz. Either way all professions are supposed to be capable of everything. Which ones have you tried? :3

I've just tried a range of full on damage Warrior, Thief, and Ele. Didn't like them all. I've tried bunker Guardian and Warrior and didn't like either of those. So I want to test out more of a support build but I test it out too much in pubs. lol

Eh that's usually the best place to test other than controlled environments for certain things. Welp if you're interested in Necros I was thinking of getting a bunch of similarly-interested people together to play around and learn what they can do some time in the near future, if you care to join. :3 Regardless, GL to you in finding your prof. ^^

Ok I think people need to understand the important factor here:

WE WANT TO WIN. I appreciate the people who posted who are testing out sPvP and trying it out. We can always do games with you to get you better, but for NOW we are looking for people who are SKILLED in their class and want to kick some ass. It will be competitive, it will get temperamental, and it will be strict. But it will be rewarding. Gyoin correct me if I am wrong.

With that in MIND please only post here if you are "super serious" :)
