H1Z1's "Big Damn Patch" went live today, and players have some new shinies to check out in-game.
1 New Male Character Model Introduced
If you're tired of looking like everybody else at the party, you can now look like the other guy at the party.
2 Dam Area Given A Major Overhaul
3 Zombie Horde Spawns Tweaked
Zombie horde spawns are now based on player population of a server, which should keep low-pop servers from being overrun.
Zombies will be more likely to spawn near areas with lots of items and action, such as cities and around player fire fights.
Zombies spawning near player spawn areas will be more likely to be slow-moving shamblers, to allow more survivability for new players.
4 Zombies Dressed To Party!
Zombies will now wear the lootable hats and helmets they have in their inventory. They will carry weapons.
Note: They do not the wear lootable shirts or pants yet.
5 Crafting Workbenches Added
Workbenches can be found or created and placed, and will grant players the ability to craft special recipe items.
6 Turn Found Ammo Into Any Ammo You Want
Players can break down ammo into "gun components", with each bullet providing one bullet component. New ammo can be crafted at a workbench using two bullet components.
