Tabletop Simulator

Once we have all of the keys passed out we need to decide on what game we should all play first.
 
^ definitely this.

There are like eighty six pages of games so far. fuuuuuck.

I sorted it by highest rated and looked at like the first five pages and put a list together earlier in the thread.

But I am pretty much open to anything!

JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU A HEADS UP OF A NEW STEAM GIFT RESTRICTION FOR GIFTING TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE YOUR OWN.

"...once a gift has been bought from certain countries, it can only be redeemed in the same countries. Furthermore, if a gift were to be added to a user’s library, it would only be playable within the same countries."

"For instance, if game X is bought from Russia and sent as a gift, it can only be redeemed in Russia and can only be played in Russia, meaning that if the user were to travel to another country, they would lose access to the game until their return."

So if you guys are planning on buying the four pack and gifting to other tab members, be wary of this. Apparently it is also being worked retroactively, so games you ALREADY have gifted/received from other countries are in jeapordy too.

Just a warning, all.

uh oh... I'm curious to see if anyone else who got the German copy were able to play. I downloaded the game onto my Steam and computer but it wouldn't update.

:(

As far as I´m aware it was only with russian keys since they were much more cheap (they usually cost 75% less) compared to other keys. It should work. If not I will give you guys a refund.

I'll try again this weekend and see what happens. If it doesn't work don't worry about the refund... I'll just have (yet another) game in my library that's just sitting there lol
 
So me and Psionic Fox messed around and here are a few things we figured out:
The host of the game need to port foward the port.
It seems like games have to load fully before people can join.

Can we use any of the tungle services to bypass it? So we can all connect to a virtual lan?
 
I was messing around yesterday and could not for the life of me figure out how to load the games that people had put up in steam workshop (like monopoly and clue and stuff).

What was I doing wrong?

Really easy click teh green icon next to it, load the game, bam mods.
 
I clicked the green button, but have no idea where to load the game. It doesn't pop up in the menu when I play the tabletop simulator.
