i Love HRM's but having the chest part all the time blows. This is a gadget I can get behind without it just being the how many times did you swing your arm in a day or if you jerked off a lot.

Is that how it gauges your calories, via heart rate?

Yeah it looks neat and if it's a bracelet it won't be intrusive. Water proof?
 
Yes to all. And body heat.

I was looking at something similar to this a few months ago, called the Jawbone or something. Same deal, wristband monitoring etc. Definitely something to consider, especially to see how work effects things(lots of walking sometimes, or lots of sitting or a mixture of both).
 
The jawbone is not similar. I will explain more in the am. But short and sweet it gives you a "hypothetical" calorie burn which can actually hurt progress. Like any gadget gimmick or gizmo still gotta put in the work. The ones out now other than the bodybedia core or an actual hrm are just hyped pieces of expensive junk IMO. No actual info to help your lifestyle. Drinking with those even the Nike one will "burn more calories" than a run. It gauges motion of your arm not activity.
I suppose if you want a general estimate of calories burned during a good fap this is the product for that.

I've done a lot of research on everything out there like this if ya snna discuss over bl2 tomorrow.

Yes. The core 2 will be 150-200
The core 1 which is bigger and available now is 99$ on sale.

Jawbone just acquired bodymedia and plans to incorporate their tech into their products down the line.

I'm down 9 lbs as of a month of work. Reminder I am all about building up my body to be strong. So it is often the threshold of Body Fat % vs weight lost. my % went from 18 to 14. So the weight is finally reflecting the muscle gained.

Same boat goal-wise currently.
 
Dropped 40lbs as a part of a new years resolution type thing, I can honestly tell you that I thought it was going to be more difficult.

Just a matter of cutting out excess sugars(soda primarily) and eating less overall.

Also sticking to an exercise regiment until it becomes just a part of the daily routine, hour or so a day. Than wham a few months later in great shape. :)
 
It's great to see people still going on this! I've been hitting it since April and have lost 18lbs with another 27 to go. I use the My Fitness Pal website and app. It sounds similar to the Lost It app mentioned earlier.

The toughest part for me has been motivation. On the days where I don't want to go to the gym I have to say to myself, "If you don't go today you'll derail yourself, so get off your fucking lazy ass and go do it. It's only 30m, you'll feel better and will be proud of yourself when you're done." When I think I'm hungry and want to eat I just have to remind myself of my ultimate goal and that what I'm doing is a lifestyle change, not a diet that I'm going to quit doing when I've lost the weight.
 
I don't have any before shots (not much of a photo person), but I will take an after shot and toss it up here when I hit my goal.
 
I actually have to gain weight was very skinny at about 135 after about 6 months i got a good routine eating the right food getting my macros ect and got to about 155 trying to reach about 175-180

How tall are you? 135 and I would be dead.
 
uhm... how were you not in a hospital? Glad you are putting on some lbs. Im 5'10 and 150 is the lowest I should ever go.

Lol idk whats wrong with me but gaining wait is the hardest thing for me unless im constantly ,eating working out, and sucking down weight gainers i am way below what i should and want to weigh......maybe i should go see a doctor
